Green Corps program in environmental leadership and organizing

Andrea Watts contacted us about this opportunity. Note that while the program is specifically designed for graduating seniors, there are also summer internships for undergraduate students.

greencorpsMy name is Andrea and I’m the Recruitment Outreach Intern with Green Corps.

I’m hoping you can pass on the announcement I pasted below this email to seniors who might be interested (or undergrads who might be looking for environmental summer internships) about Green Corps accepting applications.

As you might know, Green Corps runs a paid training program in environmental leadership and advocacy.  Participants learn grassroots organizing skills in the classroom with some of the top practitioners in the country, while working on 3 to 5 different campaigns with major environmental non-profits like the Sierra Club, Food and Water Watch and the National Wildlife Federation.

It’s our 20th anniversary this year, and previous alumni of the program include Phil Radford, the Executive Director of Greenpeace USA and Sarah Hodgdon, Conservation Director of the Sierra Club.

Thanks,

Andrea Watts
